Originally used to rebuild the South during the last century, Antique Heart Pine floor planks are produced from reclaimed Heart Pine timbers and logs. Each plank contains a living history of that time when it was used to build America. Displaying a beautiful orange or pumpkin color for prized for its strength and durability, this rare and gorgeous flooring is frequently recovered from southern textile mills and barns in the South East and East Coast. Antique Heart Pine flooring can be recognized by its deep orange coloring, tight vertical grain structure as well as authentic nail holes and markings from its original use. Magellan Antique Heart Pine

Magellan is our economy grade antique heart pine. Grading will be similar to our Sir Francis Drake, with a lower average of heart content and limited oil from years of service in old factories and cotton mills. Your Magellan floor should be sanded and finished by a trained professional with experience finishing oily wood products.

Sir Francis Drake Antique Heart Pine

Sir Francis Drake is our rustic, knotty heart pine with no oil. The rustic grade and rich heart content make Sir Francis Drake a perfect choice for someone looking for a natural looking floor with the beautiful variation and deep rich color of aged heartwood. Nail and bolt holes are allowed in this grade to make the history of this floor evident as soon as you lay eyes on it.

Columbus Antique Heart Pine

Columbus Antique Heart Pine is made from the same beams used in our Lewis and Clark and Sir Francis Drake antique products. Your Columbus floor will mirror the floors installed in homes 300 years ago. The mixture of dense, hard, vertical and plain-sawn grain patterns will give you a floor with tremendous elegance and durability while offering the option of widths up to 10 7/8”. Columbus is truly a floor that Washington and Jefferson would have been proud to stand on.

Lewis and Clark is our premium antique heart pine. With 100% vertical grain and 100% old growth heart, your Lewis and Clark floor will provide you with the ultimate in elegance, beauty and durability. Harvested from beams originally made from trees that were 200 - 500 years old, the hard, dense vertical grain and rich, luxurious coloring simply cannot be replicated with any other species of wood available today.

Swamp Fox Antique Heart Pine

Swamp Fox is old growth long leaf pine that was placed into the Savannah River in the year 1780 for pilings and timbers. These were mostly mature trees, 300 to 500 years old, at the time of the harvest. The hand hewn timbers are remanufactured into a beautiful, reclaimed, antique floor which is a mill run so it produces a good mix of vertical grain and flat grain, nail and bolt holes are allowed with 60 - 100% heart content.
