True, authentic and traditional, heart pine is the heartwood of the southern pine
family of species which include longleaf, shortleaf, loblolly and slash grown exclusively
in the United States. Heart pine is the preferred flooring for architectural applications
such as remodeling, period restorations, pine log cabins, new construction, retail
chains, restaurants, offices, churches, stage floors, apartments, condominiums,
schools and other commercial and residential applications. Grizzly Forest distributes

Birmingham is a prefinished version of our Madison C&Btr yellow pine. It is
available in two widths and in random lengths from 2’-7’. All of our prefinished
products are end-matched and micro-beveled on all four sides. We use a clearcoat
of UV cured polyurethane and aluminum oxide with no UV inhibitors so your floor
will amber naturally over time. |

Our Renaissance is a hand-scraped and wirebrushed floor with a hand-rubbed, “Old
World”, self sealing stain. It is prepackaged in random widths to take the guesswork
out of the equation and make racking the floor much easier. Your Renaissance floor
can be installed and walked on immediately, or have a coat of polyurethane or tung
oil applied after installation to give the floor more luster. All of our prefinished
products are end-matched and micro-beveled on all four sides. |

Ponce De Leon is Grizzly Forest Product’s engineered antique heart pine flooring.
This product has a mix of all the solid grades, large to small knots, and nail and
bolt holes are allowed. Ponce De Leon is a good mix of vertical grain and flat grain,
60 - 100% heart content and can add beauty and character to any home where a glue-down
product is a must. This product is prefinished using aluminum oxide finish. It is
also available as an unfinished product. |
